Hard Rifle Case For Long Barrel Rifles

TIA what are you guys using for a hard case for transporting rifles with a 30" long barrel plus a muzzle brake? I'd rather not keep removing and reinstalling the brake. I have soft cases but I'm considering something stronger. Thanks.

I have a cabelas one, it just barely works. The it’s heavy as hell too.

Thanks for the replies. The SKB cases look good, but the measurements don't look like they will work with the brake on the rifle. I have two soft cases which have plenty of room, I might have to continue to use them. The OAL of the rifle in question is 53 1/2".

Tried an True Pelican is a beast of a case and weighs a ton but oh man, the Harbor Freight knockoff is pretty darn close

I agree with GT! I have that one for transporting long barrel rifles. When it is finished, my 300 NMI on a CERUS stock and Zeus LA with 30" barrel and brake (probably a VAIS) will live in it outside the house.

The harbor freight one should work. It's pretty beefy for the price. It held my 30" 7-300 Win Mag just fine. I ended up selling it however because the case was just too heavy with the 16# rifle. I went back to a nice soft case.

Check with Noreen firearms to see who they use. My ulr 50bmg with 34" and brake came with a hard case
