hard bolt lift

Hi

This is a 30 06- a3 03 sport er rifle.

I am getting hard bolt lift.

I Loaded some rounds 51 gr of imr4350 150 smk's
[thats below min = max is 57 in my book]
No jam.

This load has been working fine for at least 50 shots.

I shot the gun one week then the next week I started getting hard bolt lift. With the same reload batch.

The reloads chamber nice, and the spent case chambers nice.

What do you think is up?

Make sure your chamber is nice and clean. A cruddy chamber will give a hard bolt lift.

looks like RMiller was righr.

We took a .375 mop and a patch and cleaned out a light film of wipeout from the chamber.

It seems to be fine now. There was no need for worry. [i hope]
