AA2200 is supposed to be the hot ticket, I have no idea as to the true speed or the capacity that will get me there, but I`m damn sure I`m going to go for it.....

I am shooting 22.0 grs AA2200 with 32 V-Max that is Danzac coated w/Fed 205 in Lapua brass - YMMV, so start lower & work up to develop the best load for your rifle. Over my Oehler 35P @ 10 ft, I get 4,050 fps with low teens ES. I took my two 20FB's out to the range this past Monday AM to check sight in & sort of compare scopes. One has a Leupold 6.5-20X50 LR and the other has a Zeiss HD5 5-25X50. I shot the one with the Leupold 1st and was amazed & pleased to knock out a 5-shot group at 100 yds that measured 0.115. Next I got the rifle with the new Zeiss zeroed, then shot a 5-shot group that wasn't quite as pretty, but still measured 0.185. Both rifles have Mullerworks 4G11 barrels that shoot consistent bugholes. I still have 3 20VT rifles, but they don't get shot so much anymore. If you follow my posts, you know I have become quite a fan of the AI cartridges in both the 20FB and the 20-223AI. I'm getting overall performance in these cartridges I never would have believed.

I put a .234 neck on it

And .020 Freebore......

How`s that compare to yours.....Can`t remember.....


I thought yours was 0 freebore and .232 neck, I think the base on mine is bigger, but only by .0005-.0006 or so.........

Mine is also .020 FB, but yours is truly no-turn for Lapua & a little bigger in the back I think. Can you open the exel file attachment I posted above?
