I inherited my dads 742 30.06. The best loads I found was rl15 and 165 sst. Honest 3/4 groups for four out of five shots. HOWEVER, one of the five would be way out of the group by 3" sometimes. I blamed it on worn locking lugs, inconsistent lockup.
