Hand loaded 22lr is going to happen!

In response to the question about rules concerning reloaded / handloaded rimfire ammunition, ARA (American Rimfire Association) completely rules out anything not available “over the counter”. They are primarily a benchrest oriented organization, and (I believe) rose from the ashes of BR-50.

ill Brawend made custom 22 lr bullets on federal brass.
He kicked butt in the matches so they made a rule against handloaded 22 RF ammo

In the past I made 40 gr 22 bullets on sierra jackets for a friend
He was loading 22 rf pills It never took off for some reason.

Made a die to size down the “neck” to grip the bullets. Used a piece of scrap barrel. Don’t mind the ugly threads. Had a little tool mishap

Maybe I should have done three paragraphs on how phenomenally great the round was , before being a touch humorously sarcastic about it .
