Hand de-capping tool for on the range

Hi Everyone,

I am looking for a hand de-capping tool for decapping the brass on the range. I am not looking for dies.

Do you know where I can buy one??

Cheers.

If you have a block or base unit with a hole reamed for the primer to exit, you can decap brass with a simple punch and a plastic-headed mallet. In lieu of a punch a Hornady decapping rod, that goes in Hornady dies) will do the trick. But note, the pin diameter is .0625, which is about .003 bigger than Lapua flash holes.

Alternatively, you can use a universal decapper with a Lee hand press, see below). That does require a die, however. These hand presses cost about $27-30.

Thankyou for your replies, I am pretty new to target shooting and a female to boot, have only been shooting competition for 8 weeks, so I dont really know the correct terminology, for this I apologise.

I have finally found the Wilson base & punch on Sinclairs site, thankyou 'gunamonth' for your help.

To the moderator, I am also interested in the goodies in the picture, could you please email me the correct name & where I can purchase these??

Thankyou once again,

Rhonda

Cheers!!:)
