H380 in 6 ARC

Anybody have experience with H380 in a 6 ARC with 100-110 grain bullets?

On Hodgdons burn chart H380 sits right next to Leverevolution which is one of the most popular 6 ARC powders.

Have a 22” Howa Mini bolt that I m working on figuring out.

Thx in advance for any first hand knowledge.

I have never seen one of the Howa mini barreled actions. I was curious about your thoughts on it. Thanks!

I like it. Weighed 4 lbs 10 ozs and with Leupold 4.5-14x40 and Talley LW rings just under 6 pds. It’s been getting 3/4” or so groups with ammo it likes.

Nice light easy handling package. The plastic bottom/mag are not my style/liking but there’s a couple places that do bottom metal and internal magazine setup. Want to get one of those.

Have no experience with the ARC but taking the 6ppc into account because the cases are close would lead you to believe that it would be too slow in the ARC. Just talking out loud.

2700-2800 fps in a 22-24”barrel with a high bc 6mm bullet will actually surprise you. In an AR you give up 100 - 150 or so feet per second because of lower pressure threshold.
