I took my rifle to the gunsmith to have it pillar bedded. I bought a richards micro-fit laminate stock and finished it myself. I spent alot of time on it and had it looking really nice. When I picked up my rifle from the gunsmith, it was beat up. There are numerous dents, scratches, and bedding compoud on the stock and numerous marks on the barrel that I will have to bead blast again to remove. I stupidly didn't say anything and left mad. On my way home, I called a friend to vent on the situation and he convinced me to turn around and call him out on it, so I did. He was understanding and willing to refinish my stock, but I didn't want him to touch my gun any more since he already messed it up so he gave me $50 back of the $150 I paid him for the bedding job. Needless to say, I wont be returning for more work.Looking for a new gunsmith in the Seattle area, any recomondations?
