Gun safe recommendations

Reinforced concrete? in the roof and walls? have you ever run a Partner saw? If My house burns down,
the safe room will still be standing, and DRY. It Really wasn't much more to form the walls when building,
drop in re-bar, reinforce the roof, with two pours, excavate under the floor for drainage.
I'll bring a couple of steaks over for your dogs!

As someone else mentioned, considering your price point, I'd go down to your local tractor supply and look at their line of safes. They've had quite a few sales on them.

The reason for agun safe to would be for fire
And to keep the kids out . A crook won't care. A carbide blade concrete saw and 5 minutes your in even in a solid concrete vault Safes are to keep honest people
Honest . My guns are kept safe with a fenced yard and dogs that will bite .
If you have children lock all gun up .
Larry
If a carbide blade doesn't do it, an exothermic torch will. That's why your safe is monitored by your alarm system.

BTW, any safe I'd buy these days would need to have an EMP resistant lock.

My dogs won't eat from others . As long as my family is home they don't bite but a command from us they would do what ever is needed .
Have you ever offered food to cop dog . Training is everything with a dog.
A friend has a vault with a bank door on it .
If he want a windows in it all it would take is a few minutes and a carbide saw .

Larry...............I get what you're saying but, how many thieves carry a concrete saw and carbide blades in their "bag of tricks"......unless they stole it on the job prior to yours. All kidding aside, I read that "most" home burglars, when they encounter a safe usually don't waste their time on it because the longer they are in the house the probability of getting caught increases. But then again, what do I know.

Carbid cutting tools is the most common way around here .
Most gates have lock and chains the bolt cutters won't cut . Battery power cut off saw and there in with no noise . 6 " and the lock and dead bolt is gone .
Whoever your talking is just a wannabe thief or kids . Larry

Lol. Dogs have proven to be one of the worse securities that anyone has ever put trust into. Along side of "my neighbors are watching". A dog can be overcome so easily.

Come to my house and see if you want to jump the fence .
My bet you will ring me to let you in the gate.
This reminds me of the guy that was
In The parking lot and as the kid if his dog would bite The kid said no so he reached over to pet the dog in the truck it tore his hand up . He said to the kid I thought you said your dog don't bite kid said That isn't my dog .
Trust all my dogs will bite . Their food of choice is someone in my yard lol Larry

Yea,
Im sure yours are the sole exemption.

Larry Carbide will not cut concrete. We use diamond blades and even they make so much dust, you couldn't get in to a vault made of solid concrete for hours. And your dogs will eat the poisoned meat I throw in the yard faster than the kibbles you feed them. You are living in a dream world, if someone wants your stuff they will get it. In Miami they used to break in the houses and pull a wrecker cable around the safe and jerk the safe off the wall then drive off with the safe. Be the grey man.

It's finally time for me to upgrade to a bigger gun safe. Prefer around the 40 gun range. Will be primarily filled with benchrest style rifles and a few "tactical" style rifles. Any recommendations where to look in the central Ohio area or online. I also considered waiting until the Black Friday sales or cyber Monday seeing how that's Less than a month or so away. Any advice or recommendations are appreciated. Budget would probably be $800-1300 or so
i got two cannon safes from tractor supply at black friday sales. I think they are around 42" wide- Around 700 each . You might get 20 rifles in each if youre careful. I figure make the crook break in two or more instead of one.

Champion;), but it exceeds your budget. The physical dimensions will give you an idea about capacity. The TR-75 is 56"x72.25"x32.5"
