Ahhh I see what your seeing. That list below is actually top 5 small groups for each match. The sorted by header is just carried over to that page I believe. Pretty awesome shooting.Check out the warm up groups, not a single .2 was shot.
I agree with this statement but if you don’t have access to a 600 or 1000 yd range you have to work with what you’ve got, I am blessed to have a 300 yd range and I do my tuning there, my rule of thumb is if I can get it to shoot .750 or better at 300 it will shoot at 600 if I do my part. When I have a rifle tuned for a match whether it’s 300 meters, 600 yards or 1,000 yards it will always shoot in the ones or maybe twos at 100. The interesting thing is just because you have a load tuned at 100 does not mean it will group at the longer distances. Load development needs to be done at the expected distance you will be shooting if at all possible.
Dave.
This is generally what I have seen as well. .75 or lower will generally shoot .2 or better at 600.I agree with this statement but if you don’t have access to a 600 or 1000 yd range you have to work with what you’ve got, I am blessed to have a 300 yd range and I do my tuning there, my rule of thumb is if I can get it to shoot .750 or better at 300 it will shoot at 600 if I do my part.
Impressive indeed. At two hundred yards a .15 moa is a .30 group. At 300 it would be .45. As I recall .45 inch agg is the record at 300 and has been for years.Wow!
Look at this from the Hog roast teen aggs all the way to 9th place
My previous comments were based on Speedy Gonzales video. Hard to believe it's common to shoot aggs in the 1's. How much money do you think it cost for everything that's on the bench when your competing at a top level? rifle, scope, front rest, bag total cost? What's the value of everything you own that's shooting related. Some guys have a Bridgeport and a quality lathe. Several full race rifles. What does a full race rifle cost put together by a top gunsmith?Wow!

All the stuff mentioned above is probably less than a new bass boat or even a used one a couple years old
Guess I’m just screwed after seeing thatIf your 3 shot group doesn’t look like this at 100 yds- no need to try to get a small group at 300yds or 600yds- it’ll only open up at further distances-
Weather comes into play,( wind reading, temp, humidity, powder sensitivity), then try put it all together- your bench manners come into play-( not keeping eye in the scope, fumbling rds, etc…
I’m still learning to speak wind myself, just happened there wasn’t much the other morning..
Nope- 1st time I been to a match in 3yrs… farming has taken my time now..Guess I’m just screwed after seeing that
