Great Day at my LGS...

went in after lunch. Surprise! My guy was unboxing a brand shiny new TAVOR in FDE. I last saw one when my wife and I went to Israel with a group from Church in March, 2013. Day Four there I had enough salads and falafal to last me a year. We were at the Dead Sea, and there was a MickeyD's quarter mile down the hill. I walked down, ordered a couple Big Macs' and a shake. Four young Israeli soldiers wandered in. All four were packing the Tavors. I had my Army Ranger hat on, so I got instant street cred. I asked to look at one, and two of the young guys walked me to the bathroom. One stood guard outside the mens room door, and the other one and I go in. He unloads it, and lets me fondle it for a couple minutes. Woo-Hoo!!

Smart design, bullpup for house to house clearing. Now, all I need is my Stimulus Check...

My LGS just had one in 12g last week. It lasted exactly 36 minutes on the shelf, lol! Pretty cool little rig. Not exactly my cuppa tea, I'm more of a mares leg kinda guy, but they are great for what they are.

Every Israeli soldier I met there showed the same focus and dedication as the guys I served three tours with in my Ranger Company in RVN. They all understand the premise "Root Hog! or die...". Our motto in the Company was: "kill them all; God will sort them out...". There is no "Plan B" in Israel.
