Powder at LGS

Stopped by one of my somewhat local gun shops today on one of those "just checking stops" and was surprised to find a variety of powder on the shelf. Then I was really surprised to see two 1# jugs of Varget amidst the 4064, 4198, 4895, H335, H380, and 4831SC on the shelf.

Didn't check anything else in detail, I just grabbed the Varget, ran to the checkout counter, and made a hasty retreat home guarding my purchase.

Prices were not unreasonable ($28.95), however they were up a couple of dollars per pound since my last purchase.

So, maybe the powder is starting to flow a little.

It is always nice to see powder and bullets on the shelf, last week I stopped in at recobs and they had a few 8# containers of Varget, H335, and some 1# of a lot others. I got a couple pounds of XBR8208 and Benchmark

Now that you mention Jeremy, there was a fair amount of powder on the shelf....but almost no bullets. For the past 2-3 months it has been the exact opposite. Strange.
