Gotta Love Powder Valley

What with some of the prices we all have seen for powder these days it is gratifying to see Powder Valley holding the line on their Varget prices. They are always the first place I go for components.

That is why they get ALL my business unlike a seller on here who charges at least a third more for everything on his site. His shipping charges are super high too, but PVI stays the same and fantastic people to work with besides.

I noticed one of the all time gougers has really dropped some prices last little bit. Time to stay with PVI and support them they've earned the business

The all time gouger you speak of will never see a dime of my business. I understand and appreciate economics and the lack of product over the past 18 months affected everyone; those who respected their patrons did what they could to provide product while keeping pricing reasonable, there were also those opportunists who bled us for every dime they could. Regardless of what they offer now and in the future in terms of pricing, I will not do business with them. Power Valley is one company who has earned our patronage and support.

How? When? I missed it - again!

I check PV first thing every morning around 7, then around noon, and a couple more times during the afternoon and evening - every day! And no varget.

What's the trick?

Here ya go , sold out again and it was $229 a short time ago.

I love PV as much as everyone above... Just not much to pick from over the last couple of years, Hate to see that as I want to support them.

Bullets.com refuses to ship powder or primers to California just because a few big population counties prohibit it. I live out in the sticks in one of the most gun-friendly counties in California, but they still refuse to ship powder or primers to me.

Follow them on Facebook. When they get stuff in, they announce it there, and it will be gone quickly. I think it is lame, but that's the way they do it.

Powder Valley is one of only a coupe places that has not skyrocketed their prices. I honestly think a lot of what they sell ends up on other companies shelves.

I know this to be fact.

I can probably get 8 lbs of varget delivered to my door cheaper than their new price(bullets.com) and the place I buy from has had the varget 8 pounders in stock quite a few times in the last year

Got a question for you on the Varget gouger. Hows a guy supposed to sell Vortex scopes when they are selling them at or cheaper than dealer cost which is way below the MAP pricing.

Probably so, but the price we sell it at is not gouging. It is a reflection of how much we have to pay for it. Hodgdon is not taking any new customers, so we have to buy from others to resell this powder. Powder Valley has been dealing with Hodgdon for eternity so they get their shipments and prices at more favorable terms. Before you start labeling companies as "gougers", you need to understand the circumstances.

Also, we happened to get some Varget in and it was gone in one day. We know that we could have got another $40 a keg, but chose not to overcharge.
Check our bullet prices that we buy direct from companies like Berger and Sierra. Compare them on the web and see if you are getting gouged.
