I signed up for a notification for a March FX 4.5-28 ffp. It was listed for less than $2500 on Europtic. I have one on my prs rifle and would like another for my 22 nlr rifle. I had received an email in December that they were back in stock, but was too slow. I got another in stock email on Friday day and just clicked the link for the giggles and it showed in stock. I immediately put one in my cart and checked out. A part of me figured it was a mistake, I had assumed that the 4.5-28 was replaced by the updated model and wasn’t going to be made again. Got the confirmation email and tracking number yesterday. Wasn’t planning on getting one for the 22 but couldn’t say no to the price. Super excited.to get it mounted and zeroed.

The TR1. It works real well with my eye. The “tree” is there when I need it, but disappears when I don’t. Reticles like the tremor at too busy for me and block too much of the target. I also like the nightforce mil-xt, but prefer the TR1.

Excellent choice, the TR-1 is a great reticle.

These are back in stock. Snagged another one from europtic this week. 3rd one, I am mounting it on a new PRS gun. Happy days.

Picked one up too this AM with the ILya designed tree reticle. Also was able to pick up a Theos for under $2k recently.

TRACT has the 4.5x30 made by LOW in Japan 10% off this wkend gets it to around $1525
They are stunning --amazing glass and sharpness Glad you found what you wanted--feels great when that happens but more folks need to look through Tracts best--

Just so you know what you're comparing here. The Tract Toric 4.5-30X56 is 14.5 inches long and weighs 41oz. (gasp, wheeze.) It's AOV is 21°, very mundane. You're comparing it to the March-FX 4.5-28X52, which is 2inches shorter at 12.5 and is a svelte 31oz. On top of that is has a 25° AOV (Angle of View), meaning that you get about 23% wider FOV and 140% total field of view (we look through a scope in 2 dimensions) over the Tract. Nothing wrong with the Tract, but it's not in the same league as the March-FX 4.5-28X52 HM.
