getting new barrel, 6mm creed or 6xc or ?

I have a 6XC and plan to stick with it. Awesome round. Been reloading for it for quite some time now.....However, if I were just starting out I'm pretty sure that I'd go with the Creed

I have shot 6XC since about 2006 in competition. It is great but lack of standardization for that case can cause compatibility issues between chambers, brass, and dies. If I were starting over again today I would go with a 6mm Creedmoor. The 6XC and 6mm Creedmoor are virtually identical in size and shape. The parent case (6.5 Creedmoor) is a SAAMI standardized case so the 6mm Creedmoor tends to be more standardized I think and consequently there are more options for factory ammo.
