I have had both....All Krieger tubes. I couldn't tell the difference between them. Looks like i am going to bail from the sport....for now, so....this debate is one less thing for my small(ish) brain to worry about!! LOL
Brux are cut rifled barrelsL Cazdor. Are you saying Bartlein doesn't offer a .236? I have one from my friend's estate that's a few years old. IDK
gmr4 Is the Brux button rifled? Wondering if that would make a difference.
I think I will still shoot the Rendezvous at VT......that much fun is hard to walk away from!!!Sorry to hear that Tod, look forward to shooting with you again.
I’d say that the vast majority of short range benchrest shooters on the line today are using boat tails.Generally, with a capitol G, is point blank shooters shoot flat base bullets with a pressure ring, so a "better" fit in a .237".
Long range shooters shoot boat tail bullets w/o a pressure ring, so a "better" fit in a .236".
Not so cut & dried when various bullets can & do measure over one thou in diameter.
Brux is probably the best cut rifle barrel maker as far as wins….L Cazdor. Are you saying Bartlein doesn't offer a .236? I have one from my friend's estate that's a few years old. IDK

Flat based bullets are used by very few in SRBR anymore.. At least in my BR club.Generally, with a capitol G, is point blank shooters shoot flat base bullets with a pressure ring, so a "better" fit in a .237".
