Anyone seen the new Gempro scales on eBay. They run around $248 to $268. Says accurate to 0.002 to 0.004. Wonder if they are reliable? Allen
Same here. Still have the GP250 and use it regularly. Very reliable.I used a Gempro 250 for many years. It was very reliable and accurate to one kernel of powder (.02gn). I loaded a lot of good ammo with that scale.
Hmmm??? You must live over one of Earth's magnetic anomalies.Same here. Still have the GP250 and use it regularly. Very reliable.
Actually sold my AnD FX-120i because it wouldn’t hold zero or stay calibrated as well as my GP250
That is like I sold my Nightforce because my Barska tracks better, strange.Same here. Still have the GP250 and use it regularly. Very reliable.

DittoThe GP250 is a pile of smoking crap. I bought one from Old Will Knott in early 2013. It's a strain guage (load cell) balance and as such prone to drifting only on days ending with a y. I discovered that over time to my great dismay. I bought my A&D FX-120 within a few months and mothballed the GP250. The A&D FX-120 is a magnetic force restoration scale and provided you stay away from fluorescent lighting, protect the balance from air currents, and place it on solid surface, it's utterly dependable. I have been using mine for 8 years, and I store it in a closet. I bring it out when I need to use it and I don't bother letting it "warm-up."
About 3 years ago, I read on another discussion site, where someone had tried to get his GP250 replaced, and they discovered that the company had been bought by another outfit and they had refunded his purchase of the GP250 because they could not replace it as all their GP250 in stock were defective.
So, I contacted that company, HBI International (MyWeigh), and got the same experience. I had the original invoice and I sent them a copy. They asked that I ship them back the scale and sent me a refund in full.
I just checked and OldWillKnott is not listing anything from Gempro. I went to hbiin.com and under the brand MyWeigh, they only list one Gempro, the GP300. Lesson learned, stay away from Gempro.
I called the company today and they told me if I mail the POS back without a receipt they will pay me $150My GP250 went haywire about 9 years ago. It’s sitting in a tote full of other stuff. I really should throw the pos out one of these days.
