Gempro scale ??

I have a ? about a Gempro scale that I would like to ask someone that is familiar with them! Would rather ask on the phone if possible! Thanks Allen 601-624-2868

There's really not much to say anymore as they have been discontinued by MyWeigh. When they work they are very accurate. I've had to return two for replacement but they would not replace my last one.

I was issued a check for the full amount paid but it took 5-6 months to receive my refund. There's nothing like powering up the scale only to find it will not calibrate( all 3 of them) when you want to reload.

I'd reach out to MyWeigh if you have any questions. There are much better options.

Wasn't aware the gempro was discontinued. Hope they have replaced it with one that doesn't drift as much, and comparable price wise.

I have had one for a couple years now and it has been flawless. I have tuned beam scales as back-ups if I need, but haven't had to resort to that yet. Only issue i had with mine was it started acting funny, reading was continuously increasing, about 2 grains every second. I found several kernels of powder had worked their way into the scale and after shaking them out, no more issues.

I've had a 250 for about three years now , and no real issues with it . It did drift a little for the first few times I used it , and I would zero it out , re-tare , and continue on . I re-zero about every five rounds or so , and randomly confirm by re-weighing a load or two along the way . Every time I've checked mine with the provided weight , it's dead-on . I do keep it plugged in 24 / 7 , and added a second line filter . And it's plugged into a surge protector strip . Loading is supposed to be a exercise in creating precision , and not to be rushed . Take your time enjoying the process , and you will get a more harmonious outcome . ;)

The beloved Gem Pro 250. Both my FIL and my self have been using the Gem Pro 250's for about 8 yrs now. The only problem with them in general is moisture and Temp changes in your reloading room. This will cause them to drift. It coasted me $1500.00 to figure this issue out last year with mine. It would every now and then float 0.04 when the moisture levels were up in my reloading room, or a quick temp changes in the the room.
I bought a Sartorius Entris II with the V3AT. This scale monitors the atmospheric pressure and temperature in the room, that it's in, and it has ISO.CAL, and will recalibrate if their is a significate changes in the room.
After the second time the Sartorius hit on this issue. I put a Dehumidifier in the room and readjusted the vents. The problems with my Gem Pro 250 went away also.
A poster was asking about a pan for his Gem pro 250. I replaced mine with the pan from my RCBS 505 OHAS beam scales. They work great and a replacement pan can be had for around $25 to $30. The little jewelers pan that comes with them are a joke, in my book. (Not meant for reloading). For the money their is only one scale worth buying and that's $425.00 today at Data Weighing Systems, and that's the FX120i. (In Stock) I would use it just like the Gem Pro 250. I'd drop a charge with my powder thrower, set it on the scale and trickle it up to the targeted charge weight, and drop it in the case. The V3AT are really nice to have but not necessary to weigh a charge. As for my 250, It will eventually find it's way back into it's hard case and put up in the closet for a Bad day, some where down the road. JM2C:)
