Garmin chrono update

Wife and I shoot side by side, usually using the same ShotMarker.
When we practice shooting 5 or 10 shot groups I sometimes forget to move the unit before the other shoots.
Thus 4 shot or 9 shot groups :(
We both shoot prone and under the LONG barrel about 6-8 inches below and about 10 inches back from the muzzle and it does not miss a shot (if under the correct gun).

So that doesn't address the LabRadar LX.

And I've read the post re: the Andiscan, was interested in bgris' views, since he made the statement.

I have the original LabRadar. Never shot over a LX or Andiscan. I have the Garmin for about 5 months now and it is better than the LabRadar by quantum leaps. Never misses a shot, quick and easy set up. It's an awesome remarkable chronograph.

This is worse than a borescope post, I'm still saving coin for a Garmin chrono. I have a 25 year+old chrony that errors more often than not shooting anything under a .224. I have Garmin track/train gps dog collars 15+ years old still work great. Garmin fish finder 7-8 years old still works perfect. I trust Garmin.

Do the Garmins pick up on suppressed shots? I had to get a recoil trigger for my LabRadar since it’s report-activated.

Yes, I've seen them do that. The LabRadar LX will also do it (I've observed this), and the AndiScan A3 claims it will.
The LabRadar V1 will do radar triggering, but I never found it reliable enough to use, and the RAT works.

I bought one of these when first out and would guess to have around 3,500 rounds over it now, using it with .17, .204 and .224 calibers mostly. When I first set it next to the rifle (I have never attached it to any rifle), it worked flawlessly from the first shot. I like to rag on mediocre products that have a lot of hype - but this isn't one of them. I can honestly say this thing has picked up every single shot so far, even a few times when the thing was canted away from the target enough that I was amazed it even picked up the shots. Where I mostly shoot, it is a covered shooting range and the shooting was done under cover, though I have had it in the field and at other places in direct sunlight. For those waiting for something better to come along - I get it. But if most units work as mine does - I think waiting is quite unnecessary. I never bought a Labradar because there were valid problems from day one. I don't see that with this product. And I had to wait quite a long time for this little sucker to show up. Well worth the wait.
