FX-120I price increase fyi

A pal received this email this afternoon from Randi at A&D:

Hi Jeremy,

My apologies. We realize that the rebate form was confusing for our customers and we will be honoring it. Please keep in mind it will take between 6-8 weeks for processing and mailing.

They have not been acknowledging receipts of rebates - but hopefully after today's run around everything will be processed quickly
 
Looks like we going to get screwed on the rebate. I got this email today.

Cambridge Enviro stated on Facebook they have spoke with A&D regarding those rejection emails and they are now going to honor the rebates.

This morning I received the email swadiver posted from A&D letting me know I would not be receiving the rebate. I replied to Randi Muster via email expressing my dissatisfaction, and pointing out the rebate form did not have any reference to the list price. I later also received the follow up email raccoontail posted apologizing for the confusion and confirming I would be receiving the rebate.

It appears they may have realized their decision to base the qualifying of the rebate on the relativity of the purchase price versus the list price, would most likely be viewed by their customers as an attempt to deceive and may also reflect poorly on the retailers representing them, even if it was inadvertent, and decided to do the right thing and honor the rebate.

Let's keep this thread alive and keep each other informed about the status of the rebates. However, in light of the most recent email I received, it appears A&D will be honoring the rebate.

I also got a rejection letter and replied. I pointed out that rebate on form stated rebate was based on selling price and to rethink their denial of rebate because they would be opening themselves up to litigation for deceptive practices.
After a few hours I also received reply that rebate will now be honored
 
I sent an email to.
I haven't received my scale yet.
If there is no rebate I will call my credit card company and cancel the transaction.

Would suck as I just sold 2 of my scales and only have one left.
 
Yes rebate is valid. I was told 6-8 weeks and they are sorry for the confusion. So maybe 6-8 weeks from when they decided to honor the promotion.

i got a reply to my email this morning from Randi Muster and it said they received my rebate form and they would be processing it.

I wrote to Miss Randi as well this afternoon and she responded favorably in less than 10 minutes. She did say that it was going to take the 6-8 weeks to process.

oh i didnt know randi is a girl. my email said 6-8 weeks to.
 
Looks like Cambridge is sold out! Who else offers this rebate deal?

What’s odd is that on their website it lets you ad the fx120i to the cart at $635 Canadian dollars but when you click on US dollar purchase it’s sold out.

Also, what did most of you pay for shipping?
