front rest?

Nothing wrong with the cowan and i will probably stick with it for now, but am always looking. Would realy like to try a joystick rest and would like to try a rest that the top swivels.
One thing to remember, if the top moves, it moves. Deep thoughts by dusty.
all according to how small you need to shoot- a floppy swivel top may cut it for you (it doesnt for most)

Ain’t nothing wrong with the swivel on a Randolph.
You can always put your crosshairs on something and twist it around and see if it comes back. Simple test for any rest. Itll even have you rethinking your sand on top of your rest mechanics.

I guess I’m not to level of competition that it matters yet, or I just don’t see what your saying.

If you were going to buy a new front rest to use for rimfire and centerfire benchrest for score shooting what would you buy? 50yd rimfire and 100/200yd centerfire . Been looking at Seb, Rodzilla but am also interested in the Randoph Machine. The Rodzilla is kind of out of reach unless i win the lotto .

So what is everyones opinion?

Ps im currently using a Cowan .
Well crazy old me ,seems I have a SEB MAX,a Cowan a Bald Eagle and With the Shadetree joy stick.
I also shoot 100-200-600 & 1000 yard matches as well as a 22 Rimfire 50 yard match.
MY OVERALL CHOICE is the SEB Max BUT it is heavy and uncomfortable to lug around;SO I Have ordered new Rodzilla .I shoot the IBS matches and he has a IBS leagle top.I like the overall features of the Rodlilla as they seem to fall into my shooting style IE joy stick ,lighter weight etc.
Just me thinkin again!

I have a farley and a Randolph. The farley cost is double.
The Randolph is lighter and easiest to set up.
The Randolph doesn't go from sigher to score target quick enough to get the same wind farley does.
Randolph uses a belt to move windage.
Farley is all metal.
I haven't used the Randolph since I got the farley.
I can't figure out the "can't get the part if needed" .... Why would a part be needed useless it got dropped and broken. Nothing to wear out in less than 20yrs
I have a mtm case for both.

Farley are great until their ball screw tension screws wear out. I have sold several hundred pair of replacement tension screws for them.

I somehow managed to lose the joystick to my Lenzi out the back of my truck. While the SEB joystick fits the Lenzi, I do need to replace it. Does anyone know how to get in touch directly with Alberto Lenzi ... or should I just have Ernie Bishop make one for me? Thanks....

Call pat at pma tool

Randolph. I've used one of these for years for RF BR and think it's about as close to perfect as you can get. I've tried the Seb joystick but didn't like it. Maybe I'm just too clumsy, though. I know a number of excellent BR shooters who use Sebs and wouldn't trade for anything.

There doesn't seem to be a great deal of technology difference between triangle rests with windage tops.
I would like to have a coaxial conversion as well for this Stevens base.
