yeah it turns me off too....I got some Free-All a while back to try out. Damn that stuff stinks.....
What does bore look like via borescope using that method? Thanks.I run 2 wet patches through my 6 Dasher right after I shoot my last shot of my second string while the barrel is still hot then put it in the case a take it home. A couple of days later I clean the gun. The first 3 or 4 patches come out BLACK. The rest of the cleaning is easy.

I don't care about stink or price, [they both do] .All I care about is getting the job done as quick and easy as possible. I'm not cheap or lazy, I'm old and tired.
Thx Guys.
I heard all the hoopla about free all, so I bought some and tried it on two bores that had everything cleaned out except small amounts of carbon. My results were dismal. Even leaving it over night. To soak. I did that method a few nights. It just did not "get under the carbon" or "loosen it up" or what ever other people have seen it do. I went back to my old method of other bore cleaners and just did the same ol thing I always do.I don't care about stink or price, [they both do] .All I care about is getting the job done as quick and easy as possible. This was my experience also.I heard all the hoopla about free all, so I bought some and tried it on two bores that had everything cleaned out except small amounts of carbon. My results were dismal. I should mention, that this was on a tikka factory barrel and a tikka mcgowan prefit. Who knows if the top tier barrels are different. It shouldn't be any different but who knows.
