Folks, we know the Forum started running slow this afternoon.
It appears this was the unintended, unpredicted consequence of updating some Forum software components -- Add-ons that add valuable functionality to the Forum.
We are in the process of trying to "undo" the operation step by step. But if we can't restore normal speed (typically excellent), we may have to resort to a Forum "snapshot" from early Saturday morning, BEFORE the software updates.
We will try to avoid that.

1. We know there is a problem.

3. We are working on this, and will work through the night if necessary.
4. The situation WILL be resolved.
