Since I haven't "logged" out in months, or maybe years, I decided to log out today as I was concerned. I was able to log back in with ease.

The login information I retained obviously works. I know I have changed emails over the years, but I honestly don't remember the original email address I originally used to set up my login information.

Jay or Paul, do you think I will be OK with my current login credentials?

We can see your email address for sign-up. Yes we will continue to have a Marketplace area for Vendors. And with the new software we may be able to provide some additional features to sponsors and site contributors.

TINFOIL HAT? I always keep my camera covered, but I have never heard of a "Tinfoil Hat". Are you serious or ?

I am really going to miss the new classifieds being listed on the right side, I checked that 20 times a day. So much easier than 3 different sections.

I hope this upgrade doesn't do to accurate shooter as the upgrade to sniper hide did to them. I used to be on there daily and now twice I. The past 4 months

I am really going to miss the new classifieds being listed on the right side, I checked that 20 times a day. So much easier than 3 different sections.

The Classifieds ads will still appear on the right side, prominently on the Forum home page. We are now working on solutions that will have the classifieds appear in the sidebar on all views. That may take a few more days to implement, once we get the new software in place. We understand that the Classifieds is an important feature of the Forum.

I don't get out much, but I don't think I've seen another forum where as much business is conducted as this one. I've primarily been a buyer, but the experiences have been so good that I'd like to give ya'all a big hug. jd

One thing I would ask is that once the new forum is open for business, please don't start sending PM's to me (or the Forum Boss) about things that don't work, are missing, you like/don't like, etc... unless you are certain it is a forum error.

In a similar vein, please do not start forum threads for the same purposes - as we mentioned, some things will look the same, some different, some new, etc... and in the interest of just getting this out there with the most critical functionality (instead of in design/development feature creep hell), there are some things that we want to add, update, etc... in the days AFTER we open the forum. So, within first few days, things might "just start working" that you think are broken or missing right off the bat.

Give it a week or so before you start pushing the panic button(s) on us.

Unlikely. German authored his blog contributions, as such it's copyrighted material. He had his reasons for pulling it off the web a few weeks ago, his approval would be mandatory for that to be incorporated here or elsewhere.

It's our collective loss, but that's just the way it is unfortunately.
