Forster CoAx Press and Collet Die Help

For those of you who use the Coax and LCD, how far are you turning the die down once it touches the jaws on the press("shell holder")???

I set mine up and the collet mouth is getting stuck in the sleeve after 2-3 cases being sized? I also not sure what "feel" I am looking for when adjusting to see when the cases are squeezing onto the mandrel?

Thanks for the help.

You need to take the collet out and polish the fingers of it with a little steel wool then lube it with some lithium greese. Just put some in your fingers and rub it around the outside of the fingers. This will keep them from sticking together. I had to take mine apart every 30 cases for the first 150 times or so until it all smoothed out.

I set my LCDs to cam over in my Forster COAX with no problems. Using the standard COAX shellholder too. As far as feel, I raise the ram to the uppermost position and screw the LCD in to touch. Size a case and try to see if a bullet slips in easily. Screw it down a hair more and try again. When the bullet won't slip in by hand, I then start measuring the case neck and adjust the die so that a sized case's outsized neck diameter is .002 to .003" smaller than the same case with a bullet seated. If I can't get there without putting a bunch of pressure on the press handle, I polish the mandrel in the LCD a little smaller.

This is what I do. No problems using LCD either. I havent had to polish any of them to get them to work either.
