First Suppressors!!

I spot and stalk daytime coyote and fox. Mid Jan to end of fur quality coyote are often in pairs. Prior to legal suppressors here the only rifle cartridge that there would be a good possibility of the second coyote stopping within range after shooting the first was the 17 rem and smaller. Now even with a 22-250(suppressed) I plan on getting a shot at the second. The second will often stop within 50' , if the first shot placement doesn't allow the coyote to move from it's bedded spot. I tend to head shoot the first, take the second after it runs a short distance and spins around to look for the other coyote. Being able to shoot doubles greatly adds to the days fur pile. Also required a new drag rope design to get multiples out to the truck(snowshoes or not).IMG_20200120_115233805~2.jpg

I can vouch for Urbanrifleman barrels and suppressors. I have 2 barrels from Brad and threaded everything possible to shoot suppressed for the last 10 years. Load development photos from a 18” 22BRA and 24” (musket)22-250AI from Urbanrifleman. Both with SilencerCo omega cans at 100 yards. I am not a competitive shooter so I stopped tinkering here.IMG_0770.jpegIMG_0753.jpeg

22bra is a honey.

What is the powder and bullet on that first load?

Welcome to the dark side. I've got 3 centerfire and 3 rimfire cans (a 4th rimfire OTW). #1 & #2 were in 2007 & 2008; I don't know why I waited until recently to grow that number... I wish I could afford to suppress everything!

It is a 3 shot group but have confirmed it shoots well multiple times.

Silencerco Scythe TI.

It's Titanium.

One of my customers got on to me because I had never purchased a suppressor. After sitting next to guys at the range with vans on their rifles, and realizing how quiet they were, I decided I would at some point have to endure the process and "tax" and get one.

I bought two for Lauren and I to use.

Two days!!!

Did you register them in a Trust in both your and Lauren's name so either one could posses them with out the other being present?

What cartridge are you shooting them on? Which models did you buy? Cost? And are you saying it took two days from walking in the store to walking out with them?? That’s awesome.
