No, it's very obvious you missed my point.Thanks, I think you clarified my point rather nicely. He's a friggen EXPERT for Gods sake! As in many years of experience, hundreds of thousands of rounds loaded and shot. Many barrels shot out, been there done that, made the mistakes, knows when it's going well and when it's not.
So my point again.......how does that relate to someone who trying to find lands for the first time? Who doesn't have the well honed feel for "bolt drop" as a measure of friction?
So before you bad mouth me or the process, give it try and then compare. And do what I did to further confirm the process. Trim a bullet down to the touch point of the ogive and insert it with a camera down bore looking into the throat and watch it come into contact with the lands.![]()
