Fast twist heavy bullet 25-06 load??

I’m having my old friend rebarreled again , it’s an A prefix Rem 700 BDL that Daddy bought me when I was 12 years old ,, had it rebarreled in the late 80s and again in the late 90s and it’s toast. Hasn’t been out of the safe in 10 years probably, it’s on its way to Douglas to get a barrel contoured so it will fit the stock inlet , it’s gonna be a 7.5 twist 25-06 27” long this time.
Has anybody determined what powders work well with the 25-06 with the 133-135 class bullets. I figure it ought to get up to 3,000 fps and be accurate enough to poke white tails pretty easy to 500 yards or so.
It won’t be shot much at all after I get settled on a load.
I thought about switching calibers this time but it was my first rifle and it’s always been a 25-06

Surplus WC870 works very well in the .25-'06 with the heavies. Lot-to-lot variance can be quite a bit more than canister-grade, so plan accordingly.

Well I hate to add this as it is no more AA3100. I was told by one fellow it was the same as one of the 4350’s. He claimed to work there and it all came out of the same spout, well so does 3-4 grades of gas……
I had done some pretty extensive testing prior to me asking about it. In my rifle it was most definitely not the same as any other powder.
So if you have some laying around…….

I believe a currently produced Lovex powder is similar/identical to AA3100. @Laurie has mentioned this in the past - perhaps Lovex SO70. Sure hope that is the case - I'm down to three pounds of AA3100.

No, Lovex S070 is the old AAC-4350 of pre 2003, available again in the US as Shooters World 4350.

The onetime AAC-3100 is still available in the UK and Europe as Lovex S071, but the last time I looked SW didn't seem to import it into the US.
