No I deer is in U.K so the U.S rule of no free recoil does not apply to him.

That maybe why I didn't know free recoiling wasn't allowed..

why is free recoil forbidden in F-class? does anyone remember? I am aware of this rule in and frankly speaking it bothered me. Why wasn't it left to shooters?

When you have great teammates looking out for your safety and well being let you free recoil a 300WSM.

I do "free recoil" my Shehane....the WSM not so much.

The 7mm 270 must recoil almost as much as the 300wsm..
184gr hybrids doing over 3000fps..
A 180gr hybrid doing over 3050fps..
I won't risk it Norm lol

Nowhere in the rules does it forbid free recoil. Once again, some people assume and read more into rules than are actually stated. This goes along with how vague the rules are written.

Rules were posted early in this thread and as pointed out it doesn't say you can or can't free recoil so it must be ok too just watch you don't hurt your eye
