Extraction issue Panda Big Bore action

Have a Panda action that at times fails to extract; think the extractor is not jumping over the case rim upon closing.
Question: what is best fix for this / have considered having a Sako or M16 style extractor machined into bolt but not sure if this can be done . Has anyone out there done this, or is there a fix for the factory unit ?

Signut,
Your reciever already has the Sako style extractor on it. Give it a good blast with Gunscrubber or Break Kleen to make sure it has a full movement of travel, then put a drop of very light oil on it. Every time mine does that it's a build up of dirt in that area. (Close tolerances) If you decide to dis-assemble the extractor, push down on the small pin that holds the extractor in place with a small punch while sliding the extractor out. Bear in mind that there is a small.....listen to me, small spring under that plunger so work over a clean uncluttered area or Murphy's law will be sure to go into effect. :o
I hope this helps,
Lloyd

Panda Extractors are easily broken. The extractor claw is a very small surface and if your chamber is not perfect you can break a Panda extractor't lip very easily. They are expensive to replace I beleive $38.00 plus dollars each. I know because I have replaced several dozen.

Your chamber needs to be polished so that there are no primary extraction issues.

Yes, Kelblys can and will replace your extractor but any competent gunsmith or shooter can replace them.
