Expected maximum powder charge for 6AI

Fellas,

I am beginning to set up my ladder to test max powder charge based on pressure and velocity. I am running a 6ai with RE-19, and berger 95grn vld's, and GM210's. I plan to start at a max 6mm rem load and work up in .5grn increments, but I want to be sure to end up high enough to establish an absolute max charge. Anyone have a rough number that I should be shooting for to ensure I get there without loading 50 rounds and wasting components?

Thanks,
Chris

The rough number you will be looking for as far as "Max" charge of RL-19 under 95 bullets is somewhere around 52 grains. I ran 51.0 grains of RL-19 in my 6AI with Sierra 95 MK's. You have the right powder for the bullet weight. This was safe in MY rifle and with my COAL.
Start @ 48.0 and go up in .5 increments.
