Big fan of the cz. I wish they would bring back the 550 series rifles.
I dont actually own any guns. They scare me especially one like that because it holds more than 10rdsAwesome.Nice heater, sir. looks familiar. Seems like accurate shooters - like accuracy in all flavors. Is there any weapon you don't have. hmmm.

I bought it from a local dentist who worked his way through school buying and selling Lugers. He kept the best of what he found. Then years later, someone broke into his house and he decided to sell out for fear that it would happen again. I bought the Navy and a 1916 DWM that appeared to be un-fired. I checked the markings on the Navy and it indicated assignment to a U-boat. I don't have a clue what it's military record was. Pretty cool, 6" barrel and a two position rear sight on the back of the toggle. I ended up selling both back to him and the joke was we could make a living buying and selling to each other.hey what is the history. all 9mm ammo and chambering - are 9X19 Luger...
Dusty isn't actually human. He is a super computer created by the forum bosses. He was designed to spread infinite wisdom regarding all things relating to firearms. The byproduct of this vast knowledge is an increased volume of thread replies in all subjects. As well as the ultimate proof of supremacy... "likes"
heckuva story. $100 back then was alot of $dough. Funny how a well machined weapon was a valued item. "bought it from someone". Selling back to each other. love that. thx, pal.I bought it from a local dentist who worked his way through school buying and selling Lugers. He kept the best of what he found. Then there was the Battle of Britain Super 38 Colt 1911 that I bought from someone who was in the Merchant Marine at the end of WWII. He bought it from someone on the docks in England who didn't want to turn it in to the authorities. I was too young to drive, but I saw it in the local newspaper classifieds and asked my Dad if I could buy it. He let me ride my bike two blocks to the guy's house and I bought it for $100. Very few made it back to the US and it had a Schwartz safety. I guess guns weren't so threatening back then.

Those were the good old days. I lived in a small town and my grandfather owned a dirt pit a couple of miles out of town. I had a "shootin buddy" and we cast bullets and reloaded 45 acp and 38 Super. All before we were drivers license age. Once we had plenty loaded up we would ride our bicycles to the dirt pit and blast away. Once I found something I thought was lead, but turned out to be babbit! I was one of the first people to have armor piercing cast lead bullets.
I wonder if two teenagers on bikes with pistols and a couple of hundred rounds of ammunition would bother anyone today?

Sorry, got off topic.
I also had a WWII Nazi marked CZ 27 that was a bring back. I never shot it either.
Yep. Ive done it and do it every day. Most on here know me but wont admit itThere's alot of hooey on the interwebs. I'd wager that you Dusty - are a reliable source of solid info. Plus you are a Southerner. Sense of humor, tempered by lethality. Or vice-versa.
Like minded fellas; here. Funny how we wield lethal weapons; but would not hurt a fly. Just - game in season or paper stapled at 100- 500-1000 yds. or steel. Good chance of missing all of em. well; if i'm pulling the trigger.Yep. Ive done it and do it every day. Most on here know me but wont admit it
