Thanks Lige, I'll note your info & add it to my file.

(That web address you posted doesn't neet the s; it's just -custom.com)

We're over my start level of ~ 10 participants; I'll have a first draft ready tomorrow evening.

My rifle is a John Pierce action mounted in a Gary Eliseo Tube stock with Gary's Bi Pod, Bartlien Barrel, Jewel trigger, NF 12-42 NXS scope, Berger Bullets, Varget, CCI BR2 primers, and Lapua brass. This thing will shoot under 1/2 MOA. My team mate has the same set up and his will shoot 1/4MOA. Using Gary's Bi pod, I never ran out of height adjustment while others were adding padding and mats to get the proper height. My next scope will be the NF Competition. I heard a lot of good things about the scope with the only negative being selection of reticules.

Same except bipod

For those who don't know, Lbart is Larry Bartholome. Larry, former captain of the National F-Open Team, is one of the legends of F-Class shooting. Larry is the 2013 USA National F-Open Champion. We're privileged to have him commenting here.

Well its late in the evening and I just want to put in my two cent worth. You may not agree (too bad) but our Rifles and shooter's have won 3 of the last 6 (six) NRA Nationals, many national records and many top ten places in major matches... Our Rifles help to win the F-T/R World team match and silver for F-open team match. This is not to lessen what many other sponsors do. We are Precision Rifle & Tool, LLC. We have donated $1000.00 of dollars in support of F-class shooting sports. A Junior Rhys Ireland in F-open took 1st place junior with our rifle. We give and support to your sport( F-class). Many of you know us, many of you win with our equipment. We have supported your sport with awards for over 10 years. I agree: With a published equipment list it would be clear to who does what.

...I am shocked that I have to bring up the fact on this message board that the new NF 15-55 was a problem and as I was told at least 20 of them had reliabitlity problems. Why has no one talked about this yet. I really felt that there was a big push by NF to do well with the new scope and felt when the 20 scopes had reliability problems and had to be switched out to other scopes that this would be a big topic on this board. As a fairly good sponsor of these two matches held at Raton, THANK YOU

Jim

Now I'm going to say that I am shocked to have to bring up the fact that in my opinion this post is probably one of the poorest I've seen on any BB anywhere, or at least the most tacky. I've seen all manor of bullet behavior at 1000 yards blamed on equipment, but in the end it's just the wind.

You may want to sell scopes and competing with NF is surely daunting, but for a direct competitor to post this w/o supporting it is very bad form. It's my opinion, and you found it on the internet, so take it for what it's worth.

BTW, I'm the guy who started the "why are people selling NF Comp scopes thread".

Mr. Kelbly, do you have any proof that the new NF was the problem?

Ray - Thanks for your continued support of F class shooters. I was using one of your stocks at the Nationals and Worlds. That was my #1 team rifle and I added what should be a new women's 1000 yd 20 shot record of 199-8.

My husband built the rifle with the PR&T stock, Bat action, Krieger barrel, CG Xtreme trigger and Nightforce Competition 15-55 scope. I used Lapua brass and Berger 185 BTLR bullets with Varget powder.

Talk about coincidence. At the exact same time Laura was shooting her brilliant 199-8X at 1000 yards, I managed to eke out a personal best but pitiful score of 199-7X with my F-TR rifle. It has a PR&T F-TR stock, Kelbly's Stolle Panda F-class action, 32 inch Krieger barrel, Jewell trigger and Nightforce NXS 12-42X56 with 1/8 MOA turrets. The rifle is supported by a Sinclair Gen 3 bipod with built-in elevation. I use Lapua brass, JLK 180 LBTs, Varget powder and Russian primers.

My equipment:
300 WSM
Kelbly F-Class Panda
32" Brux barrel
12x42 NXS NP-2DD
215 Hybrid and 220 Scenar L bullets
Richard custom rifles Lowrider stock
Stocked by Kelbly's
Jewell trigger blueprinted by me
Barrel work by me
SEB rest
Edgewood rear bag
IMR7828 SSC & VV N165

I sell Leupolds I sell NF, I sell Sightron, and I sell March scopes. I am a reseller of many products. I am currently selling all the Marches the factory can make and if NF stole business from us, I sure could not tell this. I am sorry I brought this subject up only because I was trying to help new shooters and keeping them informed, it is what I have done for years for my customers, to keep them informed on what is going on in the industry and I found it funny that not one word was talked about the new NF and POSSIBLE problems it has, so I brought it up and now I am taking it and learning from my mistake. I just wanted to as much as anything bring this info to light so I could see what was up with the new NF scope we have heard so much of. And what is really funny I have not learned a thing as still no one is talking about what the POSSIBLE problems were. I spent several hours talking with Mr. Brown and two other NF representatives and really enjoyed our time together at Raton. I think we can learn from each other. Curiosity on why the scopes MAY have failed is what I am really after, as the last five years has been a great deal of learning why scopes work and do not work.

To Nightforce I would like to apologize for doing this, as much as anything I wish NF well as there is enough business for all of us.

I also would like to apologize to you the shooters as I found out hard way to not talk about your competitor as it must be taboo!!!!

Not trying to play Moderator, but this thread is way off course from an equipment list.

If folks want to debate whether there were or were not actual "reliability problems" with the NF Comps, then they should start a thread about them.

A thread about ONLY an actual equipment list would be valuable to many, apparently.

This thread is an embarrassment and should be deleted.

I'm copying data provided here to date for the equipment summary I'm preparing.

One problem I'm having is forum names vs. entrants; I may be asking those already providing info to identify yourself by PM please.

If the Forum Master wishes to lock / delete this thread it won't affect my timeline.

We were not at the top of anything but here is what Seb and I used.
Stainless Steel North West Precision single shot actions, Remington footprint (Mac's Gunworks).
Chuck did all the fitting, chambering and bedding.
Mine didn't need bedding, as Seb made the aluminum chassis so tight he couldn't even skim bed it.
Seb made both stocks and the bases and the rings.

Seb - TR, Bartlein barrel in 308 Win, Sightron S-III 10-50 (1/8 MOA turrets/MOA reticle), Joypod bi-pod, 200 grain Hybrids at around 2650 fps, Varget, Lapua Palma brass, CCI small rifle Magnum primers, Jewell BR trigger.

Ernie - Open, 284 Winchester, Broughton 9T, 31 inches 1.250 diameter, Lapua 6.5-284 brass necked up, no-neck turn chamber, H-4831 54.0 grains, 180 Hybrids, Sightron S-III 8-32 (1/8 MOA turrets/MOA reticle), Jewell BR trigger, MAX Special Edition Coaxial Rest. 180 Hybrids at 2700 fps (should not have stopped my ladder when I did :o).
I didn't need to disadvantage myself with a slow MV, but we were in a hurry. At least I didn't have pressure problems.
Federal 210 M's.
We pointed our bullets with a Whidden pointer. Used Redding full length size/bushing neck dies and Wilson in-line seaters.

Thanks to everyone who helped put these two rigs together, plus all the components!!!
It was a dead sprint when you start cold turkey in mid-March ;D
Plus the phone calls, giving me an idea of what to expect once I got there.
