Mike do not forget the Sundrop soda as well as something on your list!

Here is my list:
284win, Savage Prec Target, BART 1-9 5R, KLOEPPEL/PENROD, PR&T Lowboy, PR&T, NF 15-55 Comp, 4831sc/55.8, Berg/180VLD, cciBR2, lapua, 21st Century, Edgewood.

I didn't see you're sunflower seeds Pete :p

Flavor is important as well. You wouldn't just say you use 55.8 grains of powder without stating which kind. The cracked pepper David seeds have crack in the description because they are as addicting as crack.

Bigs cracked pepper and jalapeno were the dominating flavors.

You left out the cucumber flavored gatoraid as the missing ingredient to activate your bomb. I kept my fingers back when Pete was feeding. Lol

OK, after making my suggestion I have one (1) PM with the information asked for.

I'll add the data in Steve's .XLS file too but really would prefer a PM to better keep track / acknowledge participants.

Every journey begins with that first step, so we're moving forward!

I do a lot of business with Kelbly's and a greater, more customer oriented TEAM of emoloyees you will be hard to find. On more that one occasion, I have walked in to the shop needing something fixed, adjusted or better yet, some one off item that I needed to shoot sling/prone. Never, not even once have I been given the cold shoulder and said to drop it off, we will contact you when it'd done attitude. They worked the job I with there duties, sometimes working through there lunch, so I walked our a satisfied customer. Granted, I live 65 miles from the shop, but trust me when I say, I could ship the same articles 1,000's of miles, take a very long time and I would be willing to bet money that the work would be no better, (this doesn't ever consider the time/shipment factor.
There guys build top notch equipment, the very least you could go is list the equipment used to succeed at whatever place you came in that day at that match.
Remember, the limiting factor in a match in the operator.( This rule applied from reloading components, to cartridge prep and assembly. Never, leave anything to chance to equipment as long as long as your wallet allow will allow it.

Funny I put a thread up few months back asking about equipment lists for F class and felt like I got shunned for asking such a thing. Pretty funny. Apparently some think if they tell others what equipment they use that others will beat them ::) :-X

Yet BR have lists and pretty friendly when you ask about equipment and such. Guess some Fclass shooters are stuck up

Perhaps it's your attitude towards F-Class shooters that gets you shunned? :o

OK guys and Gals, send your information to Mr. Clark and he will put this together. This is a good step in the right direction for fclass and the people that want to be competitive in the sport. Take the time to send it in.

Erik that comment was based after the fact of some comments made. Prior I thought the shooting community were all helpful until seeing some attitudes on the forum here. So it's just a bad few out of the bunch. Obviously the good guts know who they are that have been more than willing till offer help/advice to new shooters like myself

Of course read too I said "some" shooters, not labeling the entire community

In reference to Mr. Kelbly's comment about the new 15-55 Nightforce scopes, there was a thread on here somewhere asking why there were so many of the new ones for sale. Maybe Nightforce rushed something to market that wasn't quite ready yet?

I don't believe we should be condemning the new NF Competition scope or any piece of equipment without some hard and fast facts. Many things happen during a long range F-Class match which can affect where a bullet winds up on the target.

The range in Raton has very large high slopes on either end of the 1k firing line which can affect the bullets elevation impact depending on the wind direction. Cross winds can also change the elevation at LR on any range.

Most of the scopes up for sale are due to a dislike of the 1/8th minute dot which many think is too big. Others love it. I don't like it and told the head of NF in Raton and he is looking at other reticules.

Based on my many years of competitive shooting I am going to look at all the reasons for a poor score before condemning any one item.

My daughter finished high junior in FT/R at Nationals and 2nd Jr in worlds had a really bad relay due to weather in worlds and just came up short playing catch up. Her equipment was Savage target action, CBI barrel, HS stock with Bradley cheek riser, and sightron 10-50x60 scope with moa2 ret. simple cheap and very effective. She also set a Jr national record for 20 shots at 1000yds 196 8x.

I wonder what are the relability issues that forced 20 shooters to change out scopes. To what scopes did they change to and what were the results of the change.

I normally wouldn't step in here but feel I have to make a statement. NO NIGHTFORCE SCOPES FAILED within the Australian teams camp and we took a few of the new comp scopes over. Similar to Larry's earlier statement -we had other accuracy issues but generally worked through them all by the time we got to the main teams competition. Most of these were associated with having to use local powder batches and the change in shooting environment etc.

Jim would understand this better than anyone. Whilst there is no doubt scopes can fail, they are often the first thing blamed. I have no hesitation in buying a NF because of their outstanding warranty and absolute faith they will stand behind the product they sell. (ps I also have and love March scopes so no favoritism here)

I'm going to go out on a limb and state the new 15-55N/F has no reliability issues that are documented. The only issue seems to be reticle choice and conditions that the people were shooting under (which the scope can't control).
Correct me if I'm wrong.

My rifle is a John Pierce action mounted in a Gary Eliseo Tube stock with Gary's Bi Pod, Bartlien Barrel, Jewel trigger, NF 12-42 NXS scope, Berger Bullets, Varget, CCI BR2 primers, and Lapua brass. This thing will shoot under 1/2 MOA. My team mate has the same set up and his will shoot 1/4MOA. Using Gary's Bi pod, I never ran out of height adjustment while others were adding padding and mats to get the proper height. My next scope will be the NF Competition. I heard a lot of good things about the scope with the only negative being selection of reticules.

Thanks James,
I agree with you. A good equipment list summary would be beneficial to all. I am one of the NF users that have a gripe. Will do some tests but the 7- 9's at 6:00 mixed with the 8X's was an unwelcome behavior I had not seen in the first 2 days.

My F/TR rifle:
Bighorn action, Hawk Hill Customs 1-11", .300/.308, 30" HV, Berger 215's, Varget, CCI450 in RemBR cases, set in a Doan Trevor stock. Doan did wood and bedding, I did metal.

Can't say enough good about the Hawkhillcustoms.com bbl and the DoanTrevor.com stock.

cheers,
-lige
