Entries for 2017 F-Class Worlds - Opening Jan 18

I think, myself and Shep1 are in...no official confirmation just yet.

Any advice or tips for a couple first timers?

I'm sure others can add to this, but here's a few:

- Put 8 MOA left on your rifle now. You can add the rest when you get here. ;)
- If at all possible practice pair shooting
- We shoot in the rain. Get good rain gear and a way of keeping your ammo and action dry.
- Be prepared for temps between 50-100F
- Sunscreen and a comfy chair.
- Bring a cart if you're able. Unless specifically exempted there are no vehicles on the range.
- Get used to using plot sheets. They come in really handy in the event of a scoring discrepancy and are great for keeping track of load performance.

Kathy in the office was working until about 7 last night trying to get through entries, and was back at it again by 8 this morning. Confirmations will be sent as soon as they are able.

Any other questions please let me know!

Cheers,

Scott

Very much looking forward to the matches. I see the course of fire for the Worlds 8/12 thru 8/14 (146 round count), but can not find the course of fire for the Canadian Nationals. They may be the same? I have to double check loads to make sure I am within specs, then sending my entry forms in early next week. Another question, are we better off to pay with CC than write a check in US$.

The pictures of the range look great and actual grass for a change:)

Steve

We are still confirming the course of fire for the Canadian Nationals but my expectation is that the round count will end up somewhere between 150-160 rounds for the 3 days (+ blow-offs, and any rounds needed for testing). It will likely be somewhat similar given the number of competitors expected.

CC is the fastest way to get your entry processed, and with the exchange rate where it is you'll never notice the 3% service charge. They won't be able to accept a USD cheque.

Look forward to having you up!

Scott

Thanks Scott. A long 2 day drive for me coming up from Tampa, but still very much looking forward to the trip. The first year I started shooting f-class, I was fortunate enough to shoot the Worlds in Raton, NM. Quite an experience for a novice. The wind at your range can't be any worse than those that blow in Raton:)

Scotty,

Is there a dead line to enter a 4 man team in the World's F-Class match?

Mike,

There isn't an official deadline, but we've only got room for about 35 4-man teams. If you want a spot I'd recommend grabbing it sooner than later. I should have a good idea of exactly where we stand by mid next week, but I know we did get a fair amount of team entries in.

Cheers,

Scott
