I was just checking out ptg they use to have a discount bin just like a lot of things not an offering anymore they offer 3 different types now and one is a solid pilot Elliot reamer $150 I just was wondering who Elliot is thanks to all replies Adam

I haven't price shopped any reamers. but an Elliott is top notch!

The Elliot Reamers that PTG offers are their "Value Line" which are kind of like Marlin and Glenfield so to speak.

The Elliot Reamers that have live pilots use an e-clip instead of a screw to retain the bushing which is cheaper to make that way and is known as the "Economy Live Pilot".

At least that was the way it was a couple years ago.
