Butter Chess Pie 4 large eggs, beaten 1 stick of butter, melted 1 1/2 cups sugar 1 teaspoon cornmeal 1 teaspoon vinegar 1 teaspoon vanilla In a small bowl, beat eggs well. In a large bowl, add sugar to the melted butter and stir to combine. Add the beaten eggs to the sugar/butter mixture and mix well. Then, add the cornmeal, vinegar and vanilla. Stir well to combine and pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.
Here you go Joe, this recipe is from an older neighbor and I’m sure it’s very old. It’s simple and good and we make it quite often.
