Edgewood Sand bag rests.

This is why I asked. The handle makes the base longer.

(2) The use of any form of a table is prohibited. S
eparate flat boards or plates not exceeding the
dimensions of the individual rests by two inches
are
allowed to be placed under the front and/or rests.

I have a new one right here and I see no advantage over the average rest as far as stability. The handle is a loop of layered leather that the base is made of. It can be lifted 1/2" before the rest lifts. The footprint is the same as the mini gator but with less sand volume. Just easier to pick up and carry.

They are fine. There were lots of them in use at the Nationals last year - including mine.

I will share this with you that I recently saw a top shooter with his bag clamped to a board. This was a constructed bag and within the rules. The board was within the width and attached. I am considering doing the same to a smaller protector bag I have that works well with son's rifle.
