EBIC Tuner

While at a match yesterday in Capitan, NM I asked Freddy Haltom how he had shot the last string, "did you drop a point?" Freddy said, "no just a half a point". I then saw him playing with what appeared to be a large rubber band on his barrel. I was curious and asked him what he was doing with that rubber band. Freddy replied; "that is not a rubber band, it is an Elasticized Ballistic Imbalance Corrector. I use it to tune my barrel ". I think he is going to market the EBIC. See attached photos.

As well as Freddy shoots it has to work. He and Ben Milam let me test their "product" at the Berger in Phoenix. I snugged it up right behind my Mike Bryant tuner and I think it added some West Texas Mojo. If Freddy will let me test another one, I'll stack it right behind the Erik Cortina tuner I'm going to use in Raton this weekend.

It only works if you frequently visit the epicenter of the universe, known to the ignorant as the Permian Basin. It is actually a collector of the mysterious energy infusing that region.

That's good to know. All this time I have been thinking these type of results were due to Pixie Dust.

Where do you think Pixie dust comes from?

Then idea is to limit the harmonic travel and oscillation of the barrel. many different things work...I'm trying one of my own, costs about $6.00...let you know hos wit goes. It's really simple science.....yep!!

Make sure that you use the correct size band for the barrel being used. Small bands for hunter profile barrels and large bands for 30+ inch f class barrels. By the way, little pink bands used for tying kids hair up work best. Even a streamer or two makes the added bonus of an extra wind flag. Hopefully I see photos of people using them soon.

A lot of people will argue with you about that being the idea.

GVSP... it's really not that big of a deal if you think outside the box. Shooters have been in the box so long some won't admit there is an outside. More to come later.
