dumb question I hope not

well just went to the range with my daughter.like always it was a last minute thing.my question to ya'll is this.

what in the heck do ya'll do to keep your rifels from sweeting so much?my reloading room stays 70-75*and when I pull them out in this air I just call water ( lots of rain here) they sweet so bad.do I just need to plan out all the time or can fix this in some way.or will I have to pull down my rifels after shooting to really take care of them.

sorry for it being something that might just be dumb to most.but really never had to deal with this before today.so please give me any ideas and thanks ahead of time.

Ballistol is designed to help with your problem. Mixes with the water instead of washing off. Makes great case lube but stinks pretty bad. Uses anise oil however with the scent I think it is anus oil! :-)

During the hot, humid weather of Summer, like we're having now, I put the rifles I intend to fire the next day in zippered caes's & leave them in the trunk of the car, locked up in the garage overnight. That way they are going from an air conditioned (and dry) 72 degrees to the heat & humidity the next morning, gradually/ slowly transistioning from cold to hot. You gotta let them warm up gradually, to prevent the condensation from coating the entire rifle. It's the shock of the instant change from 72 to 88 degrees that's causing the moisture to form. Doing it this way and I never have the problem, scope included.

thanks guys.I will keep in mind what ya'll said.its just that its so hot and wet feeling these days I cannot tell myself to get ready for a good day of shooting.just come to mind that I want to shoot and go for it.will be really glade when it starts to cool off some.then I will be out alot morealong with my son. ;D

any more ideas please say so
