XMARK REMINGTON TRIGGER ( NEWEST )

well heres what was told to me.while talking about Remington triggers a gent said that he could set the newest xmark trigger really low.then asked how he did it.this is what he said to do.

first run in the adjustable allen screw all the way in.now just reset the trigger like you or a smith would do.get it around 2 lbs and now use the allen screw to really adjust the trigger pull even lower.

this sounds good and all but really think its something no one should do.would really think Remington would have made this trigger ( newer xmark ) unadjustable.other than the adjustment allen screw made into the trigger.haven't really looked at it yet.really don't want to take any of my rifels appeart to see.but thought that some of you guys would have liked to here what one said to me.just seemed like something to chat about.maybe some smith here will give their opinion on this.

The only adjustment you should make is poundage with the screw with no plastic sealer on it. You can get them down to 2#'s or less but 2 pounds is a good weight for bench and varmint hunting only.
