My local liquor warehouse sells McKenna 10 for $60 & Michter's for about the same. A "handle" of the regular stuff is in the $20s and a good substitute at a reasonable price. I only drink it late after I refuse to take my plastice out of my pocket.Hell, have you seen the prices of bourbon and whisky in the past five years? Redbreast Cask 12 was ~$80 and Henry McKenna 10 was ~$50. Now Redbreast 12 is $110 and HM10 is $80.
Not as bad as ammo or components, though.
Just broke into my bottle of HM10 last night. I find it's much tastier when cut to ~80 proof, where the alcohol doesn't mess with all the flavors.
Lucky you, our state taxes the heck out of things like liquor & gas. Fuel here is close to $4/gallon.My local liquor warehouse sells McKenna 10 for $60 & Michter's for about the same.
