Douglas Barrels great service.

I have to give a shout out to the Douglas Barrels of Charleston , W.Va. I sent Douglas Barrels a very old Remington 40X that I had picked up. I wanted to return this old action back to it glory days as one of Remingtons finest centerfire repeaters. After about 2.5 weeks, I receive a post and picture of my action with a new Douglas barrel. Amazing in todays world. I am really looking forward to the completion of this project. Cudo's to Mr. Taylor and the great crew at Douglas Barrels.

Got a great pic today from Mr. Taylor, my action is finished. It has turned out great. Really looking forward to it. The old action will be new now.

I had a great experience there too Stan took great care and made up two great barrels for me . I will be back for sure .

Called Stan about a buddy wanting to build a 6.5x47. He had a barrel shipped to me in short order and it IS a shooter! Stan is the Man.

In just a few shorts weeks, I know have in my possession a very old , as new 40X in 7.62 Nato. It arrived today and of all great days, Veterans Day. God Bless our Veterans !!!!!!

I will post pics as soon as I get her back together, and let me just say, when my barreled action was sent back, it was packed in a Douglas Barrels shipping container that was more secured than my home safe. I could not believe what I had seen in a packing container.
