Don't remember this kind of reloading supply shortage before

I cant believe how bad the shortages are now. Doesn't matter what caliber you shoot. I don't see any primers or powder. I really don't see this getting any better in the months ahead either. I think its a bleak outlook ahead for us reloaders in the months to come. (hope I am wrong). I read that all the manufactures are at max production rates and still the increased consumption (hoarding and new shooters) is outpacing it. I see less shooters at my range lately and the ones there are shooting less. The incoming administration isn't helping the situation at all. Hope we get back to some sort of normal. (both for the crazy chinese virus and our supplies) Gave some primers to a friend at the range as he didn't plan ahead at all.

Be safe in the new year.

This has been played like a cracked record. supply and demand is the answer, more people buying and companies having a very hard time trying to catch up.
Read a couple of the reports from a couple companies that have posted reasons on a few forum sites.

Let's change it to Christmas lights were hard to find this year.
There were more lights around here this year than in past years. Do to the above average temps here a LOT more people put lights up also and more of them. Really quite nice to see this and we just got enough snow like 2 days before Christmas to really make it pretty.

WE the people, for whatever beliefs we have, caused this shortage. In time
supply and demand will balance itself out. Doesn't do any good to keep hashing
it to death.

We got our forest service tree permits this year as we always do.
Dug up 2 really nice fat douglas fir.
Planted 1 in the yard, put the other in a big nursery pot and brought it in the house.
No decorations this year just the tree.
Its getting planted today.

I just wish they would start kicking out reloading supplies rather than powder and primers to ammo producers. We should get a little slice of the pie.
