Update.

Made a phone call to Homeland Security with a guy that I've helped in the past. He said they do not send emails like the one I received. He wanted me to send everything to him and he would turn it over to their people but I told him it wasn't worth it, It just motivates me even more.

This is as I pretty much suspected after thinking about it awhile.

Some left wing techno jerk got my email and sent a fake threat. This is the only forum I've been using for a little over a year now.....so I also suspect it is someone on this forum that pulled this stunt. I won't even pretend to think I know how they did it. I'm just an old redneck that still tries to add 2+2. I guess it is possible that it came from another forum or source, but unlikely since I've not been active anywhere else for awhile now. The only other place I've been this vocal about "things" is on the Fox News comment section........also stopped that a little over a year ago.

Just wanted to update everyone on this. SOOOO....if you receive an email claiming to be be something and threatening your God given freedoms...........don't be afraid to make some phone calls. Just to be sure.

GOA consistently exaggerates as much as possible to get people fired up.
I support their agenda but still get sick of being bullshitted.

Registering may be a bad idea.
But:
When you submit your app the clock does not start running.
The 88 days starts when they start your BI.
They don't start it until they expect to finish it in a lot less than 88 days.
The same rule has been in for years for the existing process and seldom happens.
Your approval could take 3 years but 10 days of the 88 day clock.

The idea that you agree you're a criminal by participating in a government run 'amnesty' plan is not totally baseless but is highly dubious. Government tyrants seldom punish people FOR doing what they're told. To arrest everybody that files they'd literally need trains and camps.

I'm not saying register but these ideas are made up by people who really don't want you to.
