DON'T FALL FOR THE TRAP

Chipping away at the Second Amendment is definitely what they want.

If you own a dog and a pistol brace, please send the dog to a relatives house. That dog will never survive an ATF encounter.

Fixed it for you.

Eliminating the Second Amendment is definitely what they want.

History lesson for the EXTREMELY Slow Learners:

1911 Turkey disarms its citizens.........shortly after, 1.5 million Armenians are murdered.

1929 Russia disarms its citizens.......Over the next 24 years 20 million Russians are murdered.

1935 China disarms its citizens..........Between 1948 and 1952 20 million Chinese are murdered.

1938 Germany disarms its citizens.......over the next 7 years, 6 million Jews are murdered.

1956 Cambodia disarms its citizens......1975-1977 1 million people are murdered.

1964 Guatemala Disarms its citizens...........Then goes on to murder 100,000 Mayans

1970 Uganda disarmed its citizens.........over the next decade 300,000 Christians are murdered.

2012 Venezuela disarmed its citizens...........Right now we are seeing the results.

The Communist Democrats are working tirelessly to disarm American citizens......Why would they want to do that?

GREAT INFO POST BUT, in many references to the number of people murdered by
their own governments in the twentieth century by Russia Stalin, Over 60 million in Russia and Ukraine alone, China Mao Zedong, 80 to 100 million, and Cambodia Pol Pot, the cumulative number could have easily been as high as 160 million.

The second Amendment SPECIFICALLY protects the right to own military grade weapons! "

Your fine Weatherby hunting rifle worth $3000-5000, might not be protected by the Second Amendment, but your M-16 and you BAR most certainly are!
Gosh, I would have sworn that a "Weatherby hunting rifle worth $3000-$5000 was
an "Arm".... a "Firearm". "The Right of the people to keep and bear "ARMS" shall NOT
BE INFRINGED"
I think the Heller case clarified that.

This is a safe link:
If anyone takes the time to look at the history of the ATF from the beginning of
this nation and how it has "evolved" meaning "metastasized" over that time period,
it becomes very clear that it must be "removed" to save the life of the "patient".
To just look at the small issue of pistol braces is to just look at a symptom and not the disease.

There are no conservatives any more. True conservatism was based in Biblical Christianity.

Modern conservatism is Trotskyite communism. War mongering, internationalist destructive capitalism. The Bible is nothing more than a prop. Kill them all let God sort them out is modern conservatism.

Ben Shapiro making sure he doesn't offend the transgender pedophiles is the picture of modern conservatism.

This man has spoken the truth.

Possibly...

Can it be considered ordinary military equipment?

What I was trying to say is, if any firearms are considered outside the protection of the 2A, arms of military utility are not in that category. While your .460 Weatherby might be a fine piece and will certainly kill an enemy, it might not qualify as ordinary military equipment.

We are splitting hairs. It was not my intention to drive wedge. I was not making the "My guns, not your guns..." argument.

I agree, your rifle is an "arm" under the 2A.

I totally agree with your point but I was simply pointing out that the premise that a
firearm MUST QUALIFY as being ordinary military equipment in order to be protected
by the 2A is to me just a falsely created scheme/excuse to chisel away another bit of 2A
Rights and I think it's much more important to NOTICE this old trick used frequently
by those wanting us disarmed than just a "splitting hairs" unimportant topic.
I'm grateful to you for bringing attention to it.

Agreed. I was trying to show that the other side's argument is ludicrous by turning it on its head. Their argument holds no water.

Cancerous indeed.

Just found out there are those AMONG US here in THIS forum that will turn you in if you say the wrong thing on this forum...according to certain people of a different political persuassion. And I'm NOT talking about turning you into the forum boss either. Somehow this person has access to my email addresses......

Although I've not said ONE WORD that is not allowed by the 1st amendment, I have been warned not to continue speaking my opinions on certain subjects. I was told it could be construed as revolutionary and inflammatory actively promoting civil disobedience. (Me???............civil disobedience? Do I sound like a guy that would do such a thing?....sarc....)

Still trying to determine if this is actually legit or not, but it sure seemed to ruffle someone's feathers here on this forum.

I was going to lay off of it for a while..........until this happened.

I can assure you, I WILL NOT STAY SILENT!

Nor do I do well when threatened!

SOOOOO...here's another one:

Civil WAR 101.jpeg

Who ever you are..........apparently you know my email address.

Let's see if you can ratchet up the threats now. Prove to me you are someone I should really listen too or just some tech wizard that masquerades as something you are not.

I'll be waiting..............and TALKING ON THIS FORUM ABOUT THE SAME THINGS!!!!!!

Any fight over braces is misplaced. The fight needs to be against the constitutionality of the 1934 National Firearms Act and all the legislation since. (BTW, these laws exist because both parties are scared to death of an armed populace)

I just don't see those laws being overturned. Instead we are forced to fight little skirmishes like the Executive Order banning bump stocks, the changes to 80% rules and now braces. This drains us of capital and resources, not to mention competing for time in front of the court. We have been lucky to argue, at the Supreme Court, an average one case every five years.

Yes I am a pessimist. It's not even that the glass is half empty. The glass is broken. And anyone discussing trying to put it back together is closely watched. Every forum, every email, every social media is recorded and cataloged as a possible threat under a law called the Patriot Act.
