We are in one also. Got about 12 inches and still snowing hard. The wind is starting to blow and the snow is like powder. With the wind we got it would definitely go right and not the magnetospeed causing it. Matt

Hello folks,

Someone mentioned this in one of my threads a while back and it's got me curious. Have any of you guys noticed an accuracy change when you have your Magnetospeed chrono strapped on your barrel vs not on there?

yes it will change POI and precision of the group. I don't recommend load dev with it on. But I have used it on F-class club days from 300 - 1000 yards with it on after load dev is done with no real impact to my score. For instance at 1000 yards for 20 shots the group height (on an ET) was 8.5". Without it on I would tend to shoot a little tighter but for that match on a club day 8.5" is plenty good enough leaving me to think about the wind and look at data later.

Atglen's probably semi-buried by now. Since a couple guys got stuck in the snow and shut down the range, it's usually closed to vehicular traffic and trudging 500 meters to hang targets isn't my idea of a fun day.

Living 40 minutes to the northeast of you, we got buried too. Three hours with the snow blower was enough for me. I'm whomped! I only landed on my butt twice, tho. New boots. We can blame this on Snert. As soon as that groundhog came out of his hole to bring on Spring, Snert prolly shot him.

How much more can you talk about it changing your impact. The answers were given many times. Anytime you hang a weight on the barrel it changes harmonics which can change group size or impact. Matt

It's bad but not as bad as the SS Pins on loaded ammo thread, That one has real trouble with reading comprehension.
