Does anyone here restore wood stocks/checkering?

I have an old Firearms International FN Mauser with a couple of bad spots in the checkering and dents/nicks in other spots. Would anyone here restore it? I know, it’s not a Holland and Holland, but I have a thing for those early commercial FNs. It’s about 70 years old. The metal is in beautiful shape.
