Does anyone have any experience with shooting 6br 70gr Speer TNTs with .104 Freebore?

Dimner

I do believe in Captain Crunch.
yes, yes, I know people will pipe in and say "shoot a bullet better matched with your freebore"

Regardless, I wonder if anyone has real life experience with this combination and if it was bad/good/decent? What did you observe?

I've shot only, the heavier, 80 gr. Berger, Flat Based, Varmints ( got, BugHoles ) and 80 Gr. Sierra BT Varmints, in my .104 Freebore, 6xc and they both shot, very well, in my 1-7.5 twist at, 3,200 FPS with, H-4895 and H-380.
The 70's should shoot, "good", in your 6 br with, that Freebore,.. IMO
I HAD some 70 gr. Speers but, traded them in for, the longer 80 gr. bt, Sierra's
I'd use, a fairly Fast Burning Powder, tho !

I have a Shilen 8T I bought here, original owner did not know the FB but stated he intended to shoot the heavies. I have tried 58gvmax, 68g BTHP's, and the 70g Sierra tipped, all shot very well based on the initial testing I did. Notes indicate I used H335 with the 70g's.
