Cheap 6BR bullet?? - Like how the 30BR has the 125gr Speer TNTs

I'm going to take the chance on the Speer 70grs. 0.18$ per bullet. I'll weight sort them and OAL sort them at night while I hang with my daughter. So at least for the first 300 or so rounds, I will not be able to shoot the difference between it and a 0.45$ bullet. Not from prone, 300 yards, foldable bipod while I learn how to cope with wind and mirage at a 6" steel gong.

When cheap bullet syndrome starts showing up on my targets, I will try Bart's 65 or 68gr offerings.

While I have your attention... what is the diameter of your remage barrel nut? Trying to see if my stock can fit a barrel nut prefit system.

1.35. Many stock require a tiny bit of relief. Chassis do not.

I was going to try a 1:8. The reviews I have ready say they do not blow up... at 6BR velocities that is. @urbanrifleman in that other thread a while back where you showed your targets with that bullet. Do you remember what the twist was?

Here is a exceprt from a Midway review:
Be wary in fast twist (7-8-9 tw) barrels- I have a 50% fail rate 10 feet out of the barrel (jacket disintegrates) when the barrel is even slightly dirty, at a measly 3500 FPS.

So I guess at around 3500fps is when you need to worry. Other reviews say they have no problem with 3500 and 3600 fps. I wont be pushing them nearly that fast in the 6BR
